Southern Arkansas University is now approved to offer the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Rural and Diverse Educational Leadership according to a recent decision by its regional accreditor, the Higher Learning Commission. Historic Bussey Hall will be restored to its former glory thanks to a grant from the ANCRC. Southern Arkansas University has received a generous grant from the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council (ANCRC) to benefit the restoration of one of its historic residence halls, Bussey Hall. The grant amounts to a total of $698,060 and is the largest grant the University has received to date from the ANCRC.
